On the occasion of 18 March Çanakkale Victory and Commemoration of Martyrs Day, as the staff of the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM), we commemorate with respect and gratitude the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his brothers in arms, our glorious martyrs who lost their lives at Çanakkale, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel, all public employees, and their family members who lost their lives during their assignments abroad as a result of the terror attacks perpetrated by ultranationalistic Armenian groups.

On 11 February 2020 at the conference titled “Current Refugee Movements in Asia and their Reflections on Turkey,” Metin Çorabatır, the President of the Research Centre on Asylum and Migration (IGAM) and the former Spokesperson and External Relations Officer of the UNHCR Office in Turkey, made a presentation on the current state of refugee protection in the Asia-Pacific region.
