THE BOOK TITLED “THE ARMENIANS OF MUSA DAGH, 1915-1939: A STORY OF INSURGENCY AND FLIGHT” WRITTEN BY KEMAL ÇİÇEK HAS BEEN PUBLISHED On 22 October 2020, Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) had held an online lecture titled “Musa Dagh 1915: A Revolt or A Resistance?”, at which the main speaker was the retired Prof. Dr. Kemal Çiçek, within the scope of the Ömer Engin Lütem Lectures.

WEBINAR TITLED “HOW WAS ANATOLIA'S PHYSICAL CONNECTION AND ACCESS TO AZERBAIJAN AND CENTRAL ASIA BLOCKED IN EURASIA? WHAT HAPPENED IN ZENGEZUR AND NAGORNO KARABAKH?” WAS HELD The speakers analyzed the Zengezur and Nagorno Karabakh issues and the relationship between these two issues from historical and geopolitical perspectives. One of the main points that the speakers emphasized was the problematic of the connectivity between Anatolia and Central Asia.

AVRASYA DÜNYASI/EURASIAN WORLD JOURNAL - 8TH ISSUE - CALL FOR PAPERS The 8th issue of Avrasya Dünyası/Eurasian World will be composed of analytical articles on the consequential developments taking place in the Eurasian region. The analyses on the current developments in the Eastern European part of Eurasia will be clustered as a special file.

THE 21ST ISSUE OF THE ULUSLARARASI SUÇLAR VE TARİH / INTERNATIONAL CRIMES AND HISTORY (UST / ICH) JOURNAL HAS BEEN PUBLISHED The 21st issue of the “Uluslararası Suçlar ve Tarih / International Crimes and History (UST / ICH)” journal has been published. As being one of the few examples of its kind in the periodical scholarly journals spectrum at the international scale, the latest issue of the UST/ICH journal has delved into a variety of topics.

LECTURE TITLED "THE LAST OTTOMAN WARS: THE HUMAN COST, 1877-1923" WAS HELD ONLINE On 26 November 2020, the lecture titled "The Last Ottoman Wars: The Human Cost, 1877-1923", at which the main speaker was Professor Jeremy Salt (a retired academic who taught courses at Melbourne, Boğaziçi, and Bilkent Universities), was held online.

TASC: STOP ARMENIAN TERROR IN OCCUPIED AZERBAIJANI LANDS-TASC SUPPORTS USAN CALL TO ACTION As you know, following the ceasefire agreement, signed by Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on November 9, Armenian troops are to withdraw from Kalbajar, Agdam and Lachin districts of Azerbaijan by December 1. The deadline for withdrawal from Kalbajar district initially set for November 15, was later extended for humanitarian reasons to November 25. However, many news agencies reporting from the district have published gruesome details of scorched earth policy along with mining activities, conducted by Armenian troops and paramilitary before the pullout in order to completely delay the beginning of reconstruction and return of Azerbaijani IDPs to their homes after 27 years.
