On 25 November Thursday, Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and Kyiv-based Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF) jointly organized an online panel discussion with the title “Black Sea Cooperation in the New Eurasian Geopolitical Environment.”

On 23 November 2021, Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and Tbilisi-based think-tank GeoCase had an online meeting to exchange their views on the recent developments in global and regional politics.

PANEL DISCUSSION: BLACK SEA COOPERATION IN THE NEW EURASIAN GEOPOLITICAL ENVIRONMENT

At the panel discussion jointly organized by the Ankara-based Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and the Kyiv-based Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF), the Black Sea region will be put under focus. Following the opening remarks of the Turkish and Ukrainian ambassadors in Kyiv and Ankara, and the directors of AVİM and UIF, specialists from Turkey and Ukraine will discuss the current developments in the Black Sea region in conjunction with the geopolitical architecture in Eurasia and exchange their views on the prospects of regional cooperation and the possibilities of institutionalization of intra-regional partnerships.

NATO’S SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE CAUCASUS AND CENTRAL ASIA VISITED AVİM

On 16 November 2021, Javier Colomina Piriz, NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia paid a visit to AVİM.

Between 13 October-14 November 2021 at Ankara CerModern Arts Center, 48 photographs taken by the Finnish military leader and statesman, Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim (1867~1951) during his mission on horseback along the Silk Road from Central Asia through China in 1906-1908 will be exhibited.
