Uzbekistan hosted a training seminar on introducing greenhouse gas monitoring, reporting and verification (GHG MRV) systems at the enterprise level. The event was held on 22 July 2026 at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Green Economy Projects Center and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the seminar was organized as part of efforts to support green industrialization in Uzbekistan and provide technical consultations on implementing GHG MRV systems at enterprises. Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, industrial enterprises and sector specialists took part.
