The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (30 April 2026)

On April 29, 2026, in Ningbo (Zhejiang Province, China) SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan took part in the SCO Forum on “Green” and Sustainable Development. The forum was jointly organized by the Chinese SCO Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province. The aim of the forum was to create a platform for cooperation and exchange of experience, and to promote practical collaboration among SCO member states in the field of “green” and sustainable development.

In his congratulatory message to the forum participants, President of China Xi Jinping emphasized China’s significant contribution to building a global ecological civilization:
