A delegation consisting of the staff and fellows of the Otto and Fran Walter Rotary Peace Center hosted by Bahçeşehir University (BAU) paid a visit to the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) on 19 February 2026.

During the meeting held between the two sides, AVİM analysts shared their assessment and opinions on the overall geopolitical situation in the South Caucasus, the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty process, the Armenia-Türkiye normalization process, and the possible outcomes of the peace treaty and normalization processes for the South Caucasus, the Wider Black Sea Region, and Central Asia. The presentations by the AVİM analysts were followed by an extensive Q&A session concerning the above-mentioned issue and AVİM’s overall research areas.
