Two opposition parties, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Incentive for Kosovo delivered a press conference today where they expressed their opinion against the demarcation agreement with Montenegro.

The head of AAK’s parliamentary group, Pal Lekaj demanded from MPs not to vote the demarcation agreement with Montenegro.

“We call on MPs not to vote this agreement. If we trust to the state commission, we will make a very big mistake and future generations will hate us for it. As MPs, we are here to defend the interests of the citizens and the voting of this agreement damages the country”, Lekaj said.

Meanwhile, Incentive for Kosovo MP, Valdete Bajrami called on all MPs not to vote this agreement.

“This is a national matter and each MP must put aside personal interests when it comes to the national interest”, she added.

Meanwhile, government of Kosovo has published today the documents on which the State Commission for the Demarcation with Montenegro has been based. /balkaneu.com/
