Iraq's Minister of Transport Wahab al-Hassani stated on Wednesday regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Turkish side concerning the strategic Development Road project, indicating that work is proceeding on implementing the project in accordance with the national vision.

"Yesterday, technical and protocol issues arose in determining the best format for signing the memorandum of understanding related to the Development Road project with the friendly Republic of Türkiye, which sparked a surprising wave of interpretations and fabrications," the Minister of Transport said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
