Turkish Ambassador Anil Bora Inan affirmed on Tuesday that the decision to increase water supply flows falls within the principle of respecting international agreements.

Iraqi National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji received the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anil Bora Inan, and his accompanying delegation, according to a statement by the media office of the National Security Adviser - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

During the meeting, several common issues and files between the two countries were discussed, including "enhancing strategic relations, including the water issue and the implementation of the framework agreements concluded between the two countries in this regard."
