Dear Readers,

We proudly present you the second issue of our journal “Eurasian World” which is in publication since last October. As you already know “Eurasian World” appears biannually and the present issue is the first one of 2018. Our journal comprises, in this issue as well, analysis and assessments provided by the Turkish and foreign scholars and experts about the current developments in the Eurasian region. We continue our practise of focusing on a specific issue by collecting related articles under the same heading. Like we did in our last issue by presenting a collection of articles under the heading “One Belt One Road Project”, in this issue we do the same under the heading “Baku- Tbilisi- Kars Railroad Project”. Our approach aims at identifying and stressing the importance at least one of the more significant developments that has taken place in Eurasia region during the past six months. We will be keen to continue along the same line in our future editions as well. Being aware that “Eurasian World” will succeed to the extent that it will meet the intellectual needs and requirements of our readership we will always welcome your input, your views and suggestions related to our work.
