Türkiye and Malaysia signed 11 agreements to enhance cooperation in various sectors, during an official ceremony attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

One of the key agreements includes cooperation in energy transition, signed by Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Water Transformation Fadillah Yusof.

Another memorandum of understanding (MoU) on disaster and emergency management, along with a cooperation note between the diplomatic academies of both nations, was signed by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan.
