The President of the Iraqi Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received on Sunday, the credentials of the ambassadors of Canada, Ukraine, Italy and India.

The media department of the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received, in Baghdad Palace, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, the credentials of the new ambassadors of Canada Christopher Boehm, Ukraine Ivan Dovahing, Italy Nicolo Fontana, and India Suman Bagchi."

"During the meetings, which took place with the ambassadors separately, the nature of bilateral relations between Iraq and their countries and the means to advance them were discussed."
