Western Thrace Turks continued on the 8th day of the action they started to say "enough is enough" against the school wall and oppression in Xanthi. The action will continue tomorrow as well...

The demonstration of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace against the imposition of shift education at the Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School has left behind its 8th day. Approximately 2 thousand Western Thrace Turks made the city of Xanthi groan with their slogans.

Hundreds of students, parents and representatives of the Turkish community, accompanied by slogans, this time with red cards in their hands, protested against the mentality that ignores their just demands. The protest was attended by school students, cognates from all over Western Thrace, MPs, representatives of associations, business people and candidate councillors in local administrations.
