The interim Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the State of Libya, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, announced on Tuesday, that Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, expressed his desire to visit Baghdad.

“Al-Sahhaf met the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Saleh, in the Council building," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

During the meeting, Iraqi-Libyan relations were discussed as well as ways to strengthen them in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples as the two sides also reviewed the overall situation and challenges facing the region.
