King Felipe VI of Spain affirmed on Monday the continuation of cooperation between Spain and Iraq, as well as the provision of new opportunities for development at all levels.

"President Nizar Amidi received a congratulatory message from King Felipe VI of Spain on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency," according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The King of Spain expressed in his message, "warmest congratulations and best wishes to the President for success in his duties," emphasizing that "cooperation between Iraq and Spain will continue and will provide new opportunities for development at all levels."
