Foreign Minister and First Deputy PM Ivica Dacic spoke on Thursday with Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Chepurin about "continuation of bilateral cooperation."

According to the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they also spoke about "preparations for marking the 180th anniversary of the diplomatic relations of the two countries."

"A special emphasis was placed on activities aimed at improving the economic relations between Serbia and Russia and the forthcoming meeting of the Serbian-Russian Intergovernmental Committee for Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation," a statement said. 
Dacic and Chepurin "agreed on the necessity of starting preparations for marking the 180th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Russia, which will be accompanied by the organization of a series of events in 2018."
