Secretary General of the Organization for Turkic States (OTS) Baghdad Amreyev, was received by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in Ashgabat on September 5, 2022.

Secretary General briefed Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the Organization's current activities and the ongoing cooperation processes in the framework of the OTS.

The Secretary General accentuated the development of solid legal frameworks for effective multilateral cooperation among the member countries, particularly in key areas. Amreyev underlined in this regard the importance of finalizing the Agreement on International Combined Freight Transportation, Agreement on Simplified Customs Corridor, Free Trade Agreement in Services and Investments, and Agreement establishing the Turkic Investment Fund.
