RUSSIA READY TO SELL 6% OF US-SANCTIONED NIS TO SERBIA

Russia is ready to sell about 6% interest in Serbian oil company NIS to Serbia and thus decrease its shareholding in the company to below 50% in response to U.S. sanctions against NIS, Belgrade-based media reported on Tuesday.
The Kremlin has allegedly informed Serbia's government this is the only concession they are willing to make and are not interested in selling Russia's entire holding in NIS for the time being, news website Kompas reported, without disclosing its sources.
