The presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, respectively, had a telephone conversation for the second time this week to address trilateral agreements that also include Armenia, the Russian government reported on Saturday.

According to the official Kremlin website, in the conversation the two leaders discussed new measures to be implemented in the package of agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, focused on practical issues of unblocking transport and economic ties in the region.

Putin and Aliyev had a previous conversation on November 22.
