The Gulf Cooperation Council is highly important for member countries as well as Azerbaijan, said Foreign Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
The Gulf Cooperation Council will have a meeting with Azerbaijan, the Qatari FM said addressing a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku Jan. 31.
“Qatar is in favor of these contacts. As a common organization, the Gulf Cooperation Council is highly important for member countries as well as Azerbaijan,” Al-Thani added.
