Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Yerevan Oct. 14 to attend the meeting of the Council of Collective Security of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the Kremlin said in a statement on Oct. 11.

The meeting will be dedicated to the issues of joint fight against global terrorism, the situation in the CSTO territory, and prospects of the organization’s collective security system.

During the Council’s meeting, Belarus will assume chairmanship of the organization from Armenia.
