NO ELECTRICITY PRICE HIKE IN KYRGYZSTAN IN 2017

The electricity tariffs in Kyrgyzstan will not increase until the end of 2017, reported the press service of the State Agency for Regulation of Fuel and Energy Complex on Feb. 8.

The price for electricity for citizens will stay at the current rate, according to the Agency.

The statement followed the reports on possibility of increasing electricity and heating tariffs this year. 

The current prices for electricity for population is 0.77 soms per 1 kWh for consumption of up to 700 kWh per month, and 2.16 soms per 1 kWh for consumption of above 700 kWh of electricity per month.
