President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation on March 5 with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

At the beginning of the call, the Uzbek leader strongly condemned drone attacks on the territory of Azerbaijan and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

During the conversation, the sides particularly emphasized that the sharp escalation of tensions observed in recent days in the Middle East has resulted in numerous civilian casualties and is causing serious concern.
