Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic welcomed him at Belgrade'ss Nikola Tesla Airport.

Nazarbayev is visiting Serbia at Nikolic's invitation, with the first official meetings and a ceremonial welcome scheduled for Wednesday. He will have separate meetings with Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. 

Five interstate agreements will be signed in the fields of judiciary, Serbia's participation at EXPO 2017 in Astana, and agriculture between the province of Vojvodina and a region in Kazakhstan. 

Nazarbayev will also receive the Order of Friendship first class from Nikolic, while the two presidents will attend the unveiling of the statue to Jambyl Jabayev in New Belgrade, the Beta agency has reported, noting that Kazakhstan is one of the countries which has not recognized Kosovo and has voted against its admission to UNESCO.
