The Iraqi Prime Minister, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, affirmed on Sunday that efforts are underway to de-escalate tensions in the region and contribute to resolving its crises, noting that Iraq pursues an open foreign policy based on mutual respect and shared interests.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received a group of heads of research, study, and think-tank centers in Iraq.”

The meeting addressed the current state of these centers, their roles across various fields, and mechanisms for making better use of their outputs, particularly studies and research that help shape public policy and support decision-making.
