Uzbekistan and the United States have signed a memorandum of understanding between the countries’ regulatory authorities on radiation and nuclear safety. The document provides for expanded information and expert exchanges between the sides, the information service of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety said.

The memorandum was signed as part of the participation of the Uzbek delegation in the 70th session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
