Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, conducted a field visit on Monday to Wadi Hauran and Al-Anbar Desert within Al-Anbar and Al-Jazeera Operations Commands.

The Prime Minister tour was accompanied by the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, the Commander of the Ground Forces, the Commander of Anbar Operations, the Director of Military Intelligence, and the Prime Minister’s Military Advisor, according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He inspected the deployed units on the ground and from the air in Wadi Hauran, Al-Sakkar, Al-Husayniyat, Al-Hazimi, Al-Karah, and Akkaz. He received a comprehensive briefing from the commanders on the ongoing work to establish defensive lines in Wadi Hauran and build military bases during the current government’s tenure.
