Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi on Friday described the newly signed agreement with Türkiye on the Iraq-Türkiye Crude Oil Pipeline as a strategic milestone that will ensure uninterrupted Iraqi oil exports and deepen bilateral economic cooperation.

In a post on the US social media company X, Al-Zaydi said the agreement on transporting and loading Iraqi crude oil through the Iraq-Türkiye Pipeline to the Mediterranean port of Ceyhan guarantees a minimum export capacity of 750,000 barrels per day.
