The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, met on Tuesday with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, as part of his official visit to Moscow, where they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and other topics of common interest.

The two sides talked about ways to enhance joint cooperation in various vital fields, including the energy sector, the development of the oil industries, and the Russian oil companies working in Iraq, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
