On October 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, upon arrival in Doha, received the Chairman of the Board of Nebraska Power, Muhammad Al-Hajri.

Nebras Power is a leading Qatari energy corporation. The company’s portfolio includes large projects in more than 10 countries.

The head of state noted with satisfaction the start of implementation, with the participation of a Qatari company, of a project for the construction of a modern power plant in the Syrdarya region based on combined cycle gas technologies with a capacity of 1.6 GW. Preparation of work on the project for the construction of a thermal power plant in the Surkhandarya region is being completed.
