"Relations between Indonesia and Azerbaijan are at a high level," Ambassador of Indonesia to Azerbaijan Husnan Bey Fenani told APA.

He said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Indonesia at the end of the year.

"In fact, the visit had been planned at the beginning of the year. However, it was postponed due to certain measures taken in Azerbaijan. We hope that the visit will take place. Indonesia is a friend and brother of Azerbaijan and makes every effort for the rise of these relations," the ambassador said.

The ambassador added that economic relations between the two countries are at a high level: "Indonesia receives $ 2.4 billion worth of oil from Azerbaijan. This means that economic relations are developing from year to year".

The diplomat said that Indonesia always supports and will support Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. He noted that Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan.
