Over 100 places, including major cities, numerous islands, people gather in support of starving Palestinians in Gaza

Greece on Sunday saw tens of thousands of people taking to the streets in a nationwide mobilization against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Responding to a joint call by the Greek chapters of Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) and the Global March to Gaza initiative as well as the Palestinian community in Greece, protesters rallied in over 100 locations, including Athens, the nearby port city of Piraeus, the western port city of Patra, the northern port city of Thessaloniki, as well as the islands of Mykonos, Santorini, Amorgos, Chios, Tinos, and Syros.
