FMS OF KYRGYZSTAN AND AFGHANISTAN DISCUSS TOPICAL ISSUES OF BILATERAL RELATIONS

On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, on the initiative of the Afghan side, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Acting Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaki.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the heads of the foreign ministries of the two states discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, as well as security issues and the situation in the region.

Kazakbaev noted that the Kyrgyz Republic seeks to develop good neighborly relations with Afghanistan based on the common history, culture and traditions of the peoples of the two countries and has always adhered to the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of Afghanistan and respect for the right of the Afghan people to determine the future of their country.
