In Bulgaria today, queues for cheap oil have formed in front of large markets across the country.

While a long queue was forming in front of a large market in Burgas, an old man fell ill while waiting in the cold for a long time. Despite the intervention of the emergency team, he died. Burgas Police Spokesperson Tsvetelina Randeva: “A 77-year-old man died while waiting in the queue, probably from a heart attack . The incident was referred to Forensic Medicine and the cause of death will be known after the report,” she said.

Long queues formed in the early hours of the morning at branches across the country in front of the grocery chain.

While hundreds of people were waiting to buy oil for 2.99 leva, much earlier than the opening time of the market, the argument turned into a fight between the customers waiting in the lines for cheap oil in a market close to the hospital in the “Thrace” district of Shumen. When the guards of the market could not cope with the brawl, the police were called to the scene.
