Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has sent a letter of condolences to his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu over the terrorist attack committed during a wedding celebration in the Turkish city of Gaziantep.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that in his letter the minister extended his heartfelt condolences over the monstrous terrorist attack that claimed many lives. He noted that Azerbaijan, as a country that has suffered from terrorism, strongly condemns this act of terrorism and its all forms and manifestations.

Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims, to the brotherly people of Turkey, and wished the injured fast recovery.
