The prime ministers from Austria, Czechia and Slovakia adopted a common stand against any more migration of Afghans to Europe following a meeting of the so-called Slavkov format earlier this week. Poland and Hungary also continued to make their feelings known on the subject.

The three premiers jointly declared that the situation in Afghanistan should be resolved within the country and its surrounding region to prevent another migration crisis on the scale witnessed in 2015.
