Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry has sent invitations to several international organizations to observe the upcoming presidential election in the country, Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairman Mazahir Panahov said on Wednesday, APA reports.

Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) has also sent invitations to parliaments of various countries to observe the election, Panahov noted.

The CEC chairman added that numerous observers from various international organizations and parliaments are expected to arrive in Azerbaijan to monitor the presidential election scheduled for April 11, 2018.
