Azerbaijan is planning a new energy link connecting Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye, and Bulgaria to help transmit green energy to European markets, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

He said the projects could create significant opportunities for transmitting alternative energy not only to the markets of Azerbaijan and Türkiye but also to Europe.

Bayramov described the initiatives being developed with Türkiye as long-term and promising. He said a key focus is the expansion of renewable energy and the transmission of green energy produced in Azerbaijan to European markets via the Black Sea.
