During a working visit of the Andijan region delegation to Hunan Province, China, the hokim of Andijan region met with the leadership of Sichuan Power Transmission & Transformation Construction.
The parties discussed the modernization of the region’s energy infrastructure and identified concrete steps for implementing joint projects.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to launch a US$500 million investment project, which includes the construction of a 200-megawatt hydropower plant and the modernization of existing substations.
