On 25 January 2022, AVİM and Tbilisi-based Geocase organized a webinar titled “The Search for Regional Stability and Cooperation in the South Caucasus in the Aftermath of the 2020 Karabakh War: Views from Georgia and Turkey.”

At the webinar, speakers from Turkey and Georgia discussed the developments and the emerging context in the South Caucasus. Speakers’ particularly focus was on the prospects of regional stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus. Doing that, they shared their views on the possible challenges to those prospects, too.

The webinar was also attended by the Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia H.E. Fatma Ceren Yazgan. In her opening remarks, Ambassador Yazgan provided the audience with a comprehensive outline of the Turkish perspective on the developments in the South Caucasus and the Wider Black Sea region.

Ambassador of Georgia to Turkey H.E. Giorgi Janjgava was also going to attend the webinar. However, because of an emergency situation, Ambassador Janjgava could not be present.

The webinar was concluded by the Q&A session.
