British Ambassador to Kosovo, Ruairi O’Connell, says United Kingdom believes creation of Kosovo Armed Force is just and advised authorities in Pristina to consult with NATO allies. Kosovo Parliament is set to vote on Friday a package of laws enabling transition of the lightly armed KSF into full-fledged army.

“The United Kingdom believes that its Kosovo’s right to create armed force. We continue to encourage Kosovo act responsibly be transparent, and consult NATO allies, to respect its engagement in FKOR, including the exchange of letters of 2012-2013,” O’Connell said according to Lajmi.net. The Parliament of Kosovo will convene on Friday at 10:00 to vote the package of laws on transformation of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) into army.
