Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Greece Toyly Komekov and representatives of the Greek government discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation at meetings in Athens, where the spheres of education and agriculture were also touched upon, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry.

According to the information, the ambassador held talks with the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Konstantinos Fragkogiannis. During the meeting, the interlocutors noted wide opportunities for strengthening bilateral ties in this sphere. The sides emphasized the importance of expanding partnerships in this field, stressing the need to deepen cooperation.

Komekov also met with Greek Agriculture Minister Konstantinos Tsiaras. During the talks, the sides focused on the development of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
