This marks Türkiye's first export of a warship to EU and NATO member state
Turkish Defense Firm ASFAT signed a warship sales agreement with Romania, Turkish defense sources said on Wednesday.
The export of the TCG Akhisar warship, which was completed in 2024 at the Istanbul Shipyard Command, marks the first time Türkiye has exported a warship to a NATO and EU member state.
