As part of the XI meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish intergovernmental commission, a protocol was signed on amending the agreement “On the international road route between the government of Kyrgyzstan and the government of Turkiye,” signed on April 28, 1992.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, this historical event is considered a great achievement in the transport industry, which further strengthened the friendship of the two peoples.

“As a result of the changes made, road carriers of the two countries will receive advantages in bilateral and transit transportation of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey and from Turkey to Kyrgyzstan - without obtaining international permit forms. This greatly facilitates trade between the two countries and contributes to the sustainable development of the economy,” it said.
