The State of Law Parliamentary Bloc called Thursday on the delegation of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) to put pressure on the upstream countries to guarantee Iraq's water share.

The media office of the head of the Parliamentary State of Law bloc said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the head of the Parliamentary State of Law Coalition bloc, Atwan Al-Atwani, received at the bloc's headquarters in the Parliament, a delegation of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) headed by the Director of the Office of Political and Analytical Affairs in the mission  Manoj Mathew," noting that "the challenges facing the work of the new government were discussed, including the water and climate crisis, and ways to address them."
