A meeting was held today between the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama and leader of opposition, Lulzim Basha, brokered by the President of Albania, Bujar Nishani.

The news is confirmed by the President’s office, according to which “during this meeting, the two sides presented their points of view on the political crisis and its solution”.

“The President of the Republic continues to be in touch with the sides in order to find a solution based on compromise”, the president’s office also said about the recent political situation in the country.

Meanwhile, present in this meeting were also the two respective chairmen of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party and Democratic Party, Gramoz Ruci and Edi Paloka.
