AVİM's Note: It is known that the Armenian Apostolic Church is opposed to a peace agreement being made with Azerbaijan as well as the normalization process with Türkiye. The Church does not shy away from becoming even more provocative in its attitude as well as approving and honouring the "Western Armenia" notion, which is an indication of their territorial claims against Türkiye.

Armenian Apostolic Holy Church - The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin (26 June 2024)

On June 25, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received pilgrims of the community of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church of Pasadena of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. They were led by the spiritual pastor Reverend Fr. Sargis Petoyan.

Conveying his love and blessings to the pilgrims, His Holiness emphasized the importance of organizing such pilgrimages from Armenian dioceses around the world, which provides an opportunity to renew their vows in Holy Etchmiadzin, as well as to become aware of the challenges in the homeland and to bring their support to the Armenian people in these difficult days.
