Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Sohibnazar Gayratsho met with the Coordinator of Intersociety Cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership Countries of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Member of the Bundestag Johann Saathoff.
During the meeting the parties exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, regional security and environmental protection, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
The Ambassador called on the German diplomat to take into account the hydropower potential of Tajikistan when planning the national foreign policy strategy in the field of alternative sources of renewable energy and environmentally friendly production, the Tajik Foreign Ministry reported.
