Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, arrived in Ankara, Türkiye on an official visit on Sunday.

"It is hoped that Al-Mashhadani will hold several meetings with officials in Türkiye to discuss developing relations between the two countries and discussing developments in the region," said the media office of the Speaker of the Parliament in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement pointed out that "Al-Mashhadani will also discuss with officials, files related to developing and strengthening relations between legislative institutions in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries."
