It will "support and oversee activities for boosting trade and those related to the realization of Saudi investments in Serbia and Bosnia," Beta reported.

The committee was set up in Riyadh on January 29 at a meeting between Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljaljic and Bosnian Minister of Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic - who were on a joint two day visit - with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi.
Ljajic's ministry said, quoted by Beta, that Ljajic and Sarovic met with Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who also chairs the National Committee on Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
A visit by Serbian and Bosnian tourist operators has been arranged with him for next April, when the two states will offer their destinations to the Saudi market, the statement added.
At a meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Water Industry and the Environment Abdurrahman Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadli, arrangements were made to hold a joint fair in Riyadh, where Serbia and Bosnia will present their agricultural and food products.
Minister of Construction and Housing Majed bin Abdullah al-Hogail invited companies from Serbia and Bosnia-Hercegovina the field of construction to participate in tenders in Saudi Arabia, as it is expected to build more than 1.5 million housing units in the country over the next seven years, the Serbian government said on its website.
